How to Join Us:
Membership is open to anyone and everyone who has an interest
in scrolling. No matter what your level of experience is, no
matter which particular technique you work with, no matter how old
or young, you are welcome to attend our meetings and to
participate in our programs and activities. We do ask that
children under the age of 16 be accompanied by a parent when
participating in club activities.
Joining is easy. Simply attend a meeting, sign up to receive
meeting notices. There is a $10 fee to belong to the Chicagoland
Scrollers. We do also recommend that you join the Scrollsaw Association of the
World. This last requirement is for your benefit. Some of the benefits of
joining SAW are:
- Subscription to SAW Dust, official newsletter of SAW
which is produced quarterly.
- Receipt of annual Directory of SAW which lists
hundreds of resources available to a scroller.
- Discounted entry into Scrollsaw Contests sponsored by SAW.
- Discounts on major scrolling magazines: Creative
Woodworks and Crafts and ScrollSaw WorkShop.
- Ability to join a multitude of other SAW members at
Scrollsaw Picnics and SAW EXPO's.
- Affiliation with a not-for-profit organization.
If a person does not wish to join SAW or cannot afford to join
SAW, they may still participate in the Local Chapter. Their
participation is limited only in not being allowed to hold office
or vote on club activities.

We encourage you to attend one of our meetings and talk to as many
members as you would like to .

If you are interested and plan on attending a meeting, please
fill out a brief survey. The information that you provide will be
used to help plan future activities. This will also help us to
learn the needs and interests of our prospective members. You can
